From the airport straight into press for RANN. Questions and questions and then a quick lunch and back to them, finishing just in time to get back by 5 to receive the Chief Minister of Karnataka, who comes over to the room for a courtesy call first then we move together to the Hall for another press and then drive with him to the PVR Theatre to see PAA.

There is unbelievable madness from the crowds that have collected. Over 50,000 of them excited and screaming from different levels in the Mall where the film is going to be shown. Lord ! Its like old times. Emotions swell up as they refuse to abate the cheering. I must have done something right in my previous birth. My parents must have left me with all their blessings and support. And the love of the people - well what can one say !

And the city ! A sea change since I was here last. Roads and buildings and infrastructure. Modernity and expanse. This then the city that brought the focus of the world powers to India for the first time in recent years. Happy people, full of civility and warmth and care.

I need to go again. I shall return. Soon ..
