In the cold and the sleet of the blizzard we attended the premier of PP2. A fun occasion. Lots of fans and stars and people and pop corn and camaraderie and laughter and good wishes, ending up with dinner at an Indian Restaurant among friends.

Being with family was bliss and the warmth of that took care of all the cold that was enveloping us all around.

It was wonderful to watch from the side lines and not be a part of the attention. The media and the photographers and the interviews.

And this morning.. the sun shines brightly.

I am overwhelmed by the affection that all of you have shown to Abhishek for his birthday tomorrow and to the good wishes for Aishwarya. Thank you..

Some of you came on the blog to mention the meetings they had with us at the premier. That was sweet of you. Lovely to meet up with the perennial Rochelle who dutifully mingled with us in the crowds outside in the foyer.

This world is a small world, with large hearted people. Thank you for all your affection and love on the street as we left in our cars away from the premier. For those kind words of affection and love that drifted across from the barriers, from those that came up for autographs, from those that wanted personal photographs.. so so endearing…

I took some more snaps. Aishwarya at the premier and the park in the early morning light. All if you please from my mobile phone !! But as soon as I get back to India I shall be working in Kanya Kumari, the Southern most tip of India for ‘Johhny Mastana’ and I hope to carry my camera there to take proper photographs. Apparently the sun sets there are amazing..

Oh ! And in the field of sport… India thrashes Sri Lanka in the cricket.. Sehwag and Yuvraj play astonishing centuries.. Mahesh Bhupati and Sania come out victorious champs in the mixed doubles title at the Australian Open, as does Yuki in the Juniors Australian Open title… this is incredible !! GO INDIA !

My love for you as ever…

And in closing for the moment, I have to say this. In the past fortnight, I have been traveling somewhat extensively. Continents, countryies, cities, airports, roads…

And.. at every location there has been a steady flow of fans and people who have admired my work and come up and talk to me. Be it the highway to Pune, or the remote College campus in its surrounding hills. Be it the extremes of Davos or the air port lounges of Zurich, London and New York. Be it the queues boarding aircraft or the transit buses that carry you to them. Be it the lobbies of Hotels or the dining areas of restaurants or the casual visitor on the pavements as we walk.. there has never NOT been someone who has not mentioned OUR BLOG !!!

I say OUR.. because it has been possible to be this way only because of your continued support and reaction.
