Perhaps some of you may have read reports that on the Barabanki land matter, the courts had dismissed a petition against me and given me a clean chit. The complainant had, not satisfied with the order of the Honourable Courts, moved a higher court of law, the sessions court. I am happy to state that even in this higher institution of the country, our matter has been dismissed, but more importantly, it has made a most pertinent remark on judges and judgements. The honourable justices in the matter have stated very categorically, that the filing of petitions by vested interests against celebrities of international standings, without any sufficient or pertinent charge is a tool being used by such people to harass and subject them to acts which destroy the valuable time of the courts. These are politically motivated and should be checked.
