DAY 867 Amitabh Bachchan Blog
ALLAH knows what is best for us; So why should we complain
We always want the sunshine; But He knows there must be rain.
We always want laughter; and the merriment of cheer
but our heart will lose their tenderness; If we never shed a tear.
ALLAH tests us often; with suffering and sorrow
He tests us not to punish us; but to help us meet tomorrow.
For growing trees are strengthened; if they can withstand the storm
and the sharpness of the chisel; gave the marble its grace and form.
ALLAH tests us often; and for every pain he gives us
and provided we are patient; Is followed by rich gain.
So whenever we feel that; everything is going wrong
It is just ALLAH’S way to make our spirit strong.
JUMUAH MUBARAK
Its Friday, Jummah and a lovely verse from the FmXt and a desire to share it with all extended family as I sit down to pen a few thoughts.
A quiet day, a day of peace and tranquility, of hearing and bearing good thoughts. Thoughts of association and connections with those who are near and dear. Those that care and love. Those that show togetherness and wish us well. It has always been such a rewarding experience, when desire and thought match, come face to face on the same plane. The world brightens up. Exuberance fills the air and that welcome glow appears on our faces.
“Forgive everyone for everything”. “Life isn’t fair but its still good”. “Time heals almost everything. Give time time”. “Don’t compare your life with others, you have no idea what their journey is all about”.
And then the absolute clincher - “What other people think of you is none of your business”.
All of them such rewarding words. Words that if we were to even remotely get close to following, our lives and thinking would be so different. I think that if every day we were to sit silently for half an hour, just by ourselves and ruminate - on who and what we are - as honestly as we could, we would be a lot more accomplished to deal with any situation in life. When you will bear the honesty and truth of what your insides say, it shall be the best that you would ever have desired or wanted.
OKKAAAAAYYYYY !!! enough of sermonizing !
Introspection is good. But terribly boring when it is narrated to others. So .. live with this till I finish my dinner .. and then perhaps there shall be more ..
Love and happiness,
Amitabh Bachchan
