As the wife and I witness the flow of incredible singing talent on the ‘Sa re ga ma’ tv show on Zee, I cannot but feel this connect, this invisible wire that joins all of us to that force. It is inexplainable and beyond description when it happens, but it does happen and the feel is one of great liberation.

And so I envy those that have benefit of music within them, who know the instruments, the voice and the knowledge, for they have built a world within a world to which they can go to whenever. And what a world !

Superb !!

Many a moment in life I have wished to spend time and effort in getting down to learn just any one instrument, but just not getting enough courage to get into it - it would perhaps take me another lifetime ! And so, helpless, I retire to my own piano, gifted to me on my birthday by the family and start pushing some ‘blacks’ and ‘whites’, randomly, and try to look so very professional and well equipped. There is nothing of value that comes out, but I do have to say that every note creates that much desired feel of  … what can I say … fulfillment !!

The show draws to an end and so does the moment on this blog ..
