I am thankful to those that have wished our members of the extended family a Eid Mubarak and have liked the designed wishes posted earlier today. There was substantial reaction to it on the twitter as well and I wish to thank them all too. Its been quite a twitter day.

Wished Akshay a happy birthday in the morning, not on twitter, through sms, and I do hope he got it amidst the millions he must have received. Had also wished Asha ji, Asha Bhonsle for her birthday on twitter and she responded today with her thanks. And had a call from Shah Rukh acknowledging my concern for his health on the twitter. Laughed and joked a bit about his condition, his body suit, and his twit page getting jammed by millions of tweets from journalist friend, thereby not being able to get to read some of the messages he is getting. Gauri, his wife, he said had made him aware of my tweet and was expressing concern that he was still not looking after himself, despite my little health care advice ! Ha ha !

It has become so necessary to add those little elements of expression after writing something, just in case the media reads something else into it and goes to town breaking news on the strained relationships between two colleagues.

Piyush Pande, the advertising guru, who has been working with me on several campaigns, including the more recent ones on Gujarat, after seeing the hulla baloo on the metro rail matter, defiled and convoluted by the electronic by picking words and drawing conclusions, had a suggestion. Write the blog twice, he said, just in case they do not get it the first time !! Ha ha ha ! ( canned laughter, to necessitate better understanding of the situation )

Oh and yes … Shah Rukh was also saying that his page on twitter is so heavily consumed by Jitesh Pillai, from Filmfare because he writes so much, that he has been unable to access all the messages that come to him. Jitesh I hope you are listening ! Slow down baby, we need our messages to go through to SRK !!

I am now actually quivering with anticipated sleep condition, so shall beg to be excused before I pass out on the laptop. Good night dearest ones and may the new day bring all things bright and beautiful !
